ArcMail Announces First Email Archiving Appliance with Built-in Blu-Ray Backup and Email Export Capability

Blu-Ray drive enables fast, direct backup and the ability to export email directly to DVD and Blu-Ray media for use in discovery, Freedom of Information requests or internal investigations

Shreveport, La.- July 22, 2008 - ArcMail Technology, a leading provider of email archiving and management technology, and recent winner of the Network Products Guide 2008 Product Innovation Award, again raised the bar by announcing the inclusion of Blu-Ray disks on its ArcMail Defender U380 (8TB), U3120 (12TB) and U3160 (16TB) models. The disks are now optional on other Defender models as well. ArcMail Defender is a stand-alone network appliance offering up to 16 terabytes of raw storage and data integrity technology that provides comprehensive archive and data management for organizations of all sizes.

In seconds, users can search emails based on sender, recipient, subject, attachment file name/type, date range or full text within the email bodies or attachments.
