Wala Systems Announces New Company Name
ArcMail Technology to be the new flagship name

Wala Systems, maker of the Defender line of email archive products, announced that it will become ArcMail Technology as of November 1, 2006. "As we move into the mainstream market with our Defender product line, we wanted a corporate name that clearly reflected our product focus," explains Ray Bingham, CEO of ArcMail Technology. "We're excited about the new name and believe it exactly sets the tone and credibility we want for the quickly expanding email archive marketplace."

Wala Systems and Marketlink came together in August 2006 to launch the Defender line of email archive products through the Marketlink reseller network. The program has already seen tremendously success, with over 25 resellers signed in the first 45 days and product sales goals right on target.

A key component of the Defender Reseller Program is generating active customer leads for the reseller channel through a highly visible web presence. ArcMail teamed with TagTeam Advertising of Dallas, Texas to create a new and exciting web site around the new company name. "Our WaLa web site was informative and adequate, but it lacked the credibility we wanted to represent the quality and robustness of Defender. We're thrilled with the look and functionality of the new arcmailtech.com site and believe it will be a key component in our efforts to reach potential customers."

ArcMail also announced the delivery of Defender Express, a smaller version of Defender designed specifically for small and medium sized offices. "We wanted to provide an archive solution that fit both the space and budget requirements of small and medium sized business," said Bingham. Defender Express includes all the features and functionality of the regular Defender line, including full RAID storage redundancy for reliability, and comes in a compact form factor that will easily fit into any small office setup. Defender Express comes in three sizes of archive storage space: 175GB, 400GB, and 650GB.
