ArcMail Defender helps Franklin Synergy Bank build a solid infrastructure for growth.

Kevin Herrington, Franklin Synergy Bank's Chief Information Officer, made email archiving one of the company's highest IT priorities. Within one month after the bank opened in November 2007, Herrington had installed the ArcMail Defender U120. Herrington's selection of ArcMail Defender was easy, thanks to his previous experience at a larger, established public bank that had 300 employees in 16 locations, where he successfully implemented an archiving program with ArcMail Defender for 18 months.

"People get frustrated with application problems. They get impatient when the Internet goes down. But lose their email and things can get ugly fast. Knowing that the Defender has us covered is a lifesaver."

South Bend Community School Corporation uses ArcMail Defender to comply with the new FRCP, archiving 250,000 emails per day

Like many organizations in the public sector, the South Bend Community School Corporation made it a priority to implement a comprehensive email archiving strategy when the new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) went into effect in December 2006. The FRCP require organizations that operate within the U.S. to manage their electronic data so that it can be produced in a timely and complete manner in response to discovery orders arising from civil litigation.

“Compared to the other solutions we looked at, ArcMail Defender is simple to set up and maintain. Other than checking the updates and stats, I really have no daily interaction with it. It just works!”

ArcMail Defender helps Broome County Government cut the cost of responding to legal and regulatory requests for email information

When considering an email archiving solution for the administrative offices of Broome County, New York, Kim McKinney, Director of Information Technology, wanted a flexible solution that would meet what she described as “the often vague and confusing requirements involving the storage and retrieval of email.” In addition to having to maintain a complete record of all official business transacted through email, the county has to respond to a high volume of time-sensitive legal and regulatory inquiries, including requests made under the Freedom of Information Act.

“We wanted an appliance solution. ArcMail Defender had the best feature set and storage capacity in its price class.”
